3. Date & Time Settings

There are two options to configure Edge One™’s date and time parameters:

  1. Set Edge One™ parameters to match the system browser’s date and time.
  2. Enter the date and time manually.
  3. Configure and NTP (Network Time Protocol) server to synchronize the Edge One’s™ clock.
  4. Set the Timezone.

In addition, you can also set the device’s time zone.

To set these parameters open the Date & Time tab under Settings.

Setting the Edge One’s™ Date and Time

To set the time to match the browser’s date and time:

  1. Select the Date & Time tab under Settings on Edge One™’s left navigation panel.
  2. Click on the calendar icon ( ) to the right of the input field to bring up the Calendar.
  3. To synch the time with the browser’s time click on NOW.

  1. Click on Save & Reboot for the changes to take effect. The new time will be displayed as shown below.

Setting date and time manually

To set the Date manually:

  1. Select the Time tab under Settings on Edge One™’s left navigation panel.
  2. Click on the calendar icon ( ) to the right of the input field to bring up the Calendar.
  3. Select the date from the Calendar.
  4. Set the date clicking on Set time OK.
  5. Save and Reboot unless you still need to set the time.

To set the time manually:

  1. Click on the Time input field to bring up the Calendar.
  2. Click on the time field to edit the time.
  3. Set the time clicking on Set time OK.
  4. Click on Save.

To synchronie the Edge One™ clock using NTP:

  1. Set the Enable NTP switch to ON.
  2. Enter the NTP server’s Name or IP Address.
  3. To add more NTP servers, click on NTP Server.
  4. Save and Reboot unless you still need to set the time.

Setting the time zone

To set Edge One’s timezone:

  1. Select the Edge One™’s time zone from the Timezone dropdown menu.

  2. Click on Save.

The end result is shown below.
