SMS Notification

One of the actions that can be programmed to be executed by a trigger is sms notification. SMS messages can be sent on a global basis.  Please note that the SMS service has additional charges.  Please consult with your sales representative for more information.

The platform can be programmed to send a SMS message:

• when a threshold is crossed.
• when a device enters, exists, or remains inside or outside of a location.
• when a device changes state, or remains in a particular state the platform.
• when a device changes online status.
• when data is published

The CloudPlugs sms notification template is very powerful:

• It allows you to customize the messages to include as much or as little relevant information as desired.
• It supports multiple symbols/short-codes (special text strings) that can be used to provide information gathered by the system.

The flexibility of the e-mail template is illustrated in the figure below. Special symbols are used to build the message with important information.
